The following steps should help the plaster curing process. Your New Pool Plaster A. Brush you pool 3 – 4 times daily for 7 – 10 days to insure proper curing and a smooth finish to your new pool plaster. You may brush your pool more than 4 times a day. This will filter out the plaster dust even faster. The work done in this time will reflect in a smoother pool surface which will resist staining for a much longer time. During this process, your pump will run continuously 24 hrs. a day.
B. First brush all horizontal surfaces including steps, then the walls and then the complete floor of the pool gently toward the bottom drains.
C. The Pool will begin to clear in the next 4 – 5 days with regular brushing and continuous filtering. Remember, your pool will run continuously 24 hours a day. 1. Make sure your water level is in the middle of the water tile line. 2. Keep your skimmer baskets emptied at all times. 3. Pool cleaners will be installed at Pool School. This allows your pool to cure enough while you are brushing and prevent the pool cleaner from marking up the plaster. 4. Heaters can not be used during the curing and brushing process 5.
