Tips For Maintenance

Circulation

1. In the summer, circulate about 8 hours per day during the day.

2. During the winter, circulate about 4 hours per day during the night.

3. During the spring and fall, slowly work your way up or down to get to the next season.Sheer Decent

4.  When you experience the hottest part of the summer, circulating during the day is            recommended.

5. During freezing weather, you should circulate at night. Your freeze protector will turn the pump on at night when it freezes anyway so make it your circulation time also.

Tips for maintenance

Pool Water Level

1. Make sure the water level stays in the middle of the tile. You will experience water loss from  a combination of swimming, evaporation and splashing water out through the overflow. Wind, fountains and waterfalls also create evaporation.

2. If you have an automatic fill line, check it frequently to make sure it is not stuck in the on position “or” it does come on when necessary

3. If your fill line is connected to your sprinkler system, make sure it is programmed properly.

4. If the water level goes below the skimmer opening, the pump motor will lose prime and run dry. This may cause damage to the motor which is not covered under warranty.

 Tips For Maintaining

Pool Chlorine

1. Regular 3” chlorine tablets is sufficient.

2. Using Dichlor (Dichloride) instead of Calcium Hypo Chlorite is not as harsh on colored   plasters. Consult your nearest retailer.

3. Muriatic Acid is recommended for pH adjustment. It is less expensive also.

4. If you should ever have to raise pH, Sodium bicarbonate is recommended.

5. If you are using a salt system, Morton Salt Pellets are recommended.

6. Never mix chemicals together.

7. Dispose of wastes in a safe manner.

8. Always follow label directions.
