HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR POOLHere is a list of Chemicals you will need for proper chemical balance. This is how to maintain your pool. 1. 3” Stabilized chlorine tablets. (A 25lb. bucket should last you at least a year depending on swimming habits and weather). 2. Shock or “Calcium Hypo chlorite” (A 25lb. bucket should be enough for a year also). Liquid Chlorine. 3. A case of Muriatic Acid (to
lower Ph). 4. Sodium Bicarbonate (To raise pH if you accidentally lowered you pH to much). 5. Stain and Scale product (This is an additive to help prevent stains and scaling). 6. Measuring cup for chemicals Use only one cup per chemical. Do not use with other chemicals. 7. Bucket to dispense chemicals into pool. 8. Magic Lube (To keep O-Rings lubed). Or Spray 9. Diatomaceous Earth or “D.E.” (If you have this type of filter). 10. Morton Salt Pellets (If you have the Aqua Pure or Aqua Rite Salt System). How to Maintain Your Pool NEVER ADD MORE THAN 1 BAG OF SALT TO YOUR POOL Weekly: How to maintain your pool 1. Empty all skimmer baskets 2. Clean pool cleaner bag or catch basin and finger screen. 3. Check chemicals and add as necessary 4. Empty pump basket and re-prime system 5. Check that filter pressure is in its normal range 6.
